Friday Friends: Amaria's PaperWorks

I'm crazy about this Etsy shop; and I think you will be too!

Remember playing with paper dolls? I have fond memories of dressing up my dolls and taking them on car trips, picnics, just about everywhere I went. Unfortunately, my doll friends often tore, or lost a shoe or a purse during our travels.

Amaria's Paper Works, in Melbourne, Australia, has solved this problem. Amaria's dolls have paper clothes that are laminated for strength and durability AND they attach to the dolls with magnets!

Amaria’s Paper dolls are designed to be played with. They are mounted on 1/8" craft wood with a magnetic sheet sandwiched between the layers and finished with varnish.

The paper clothes are printed from her own original designs, which are a combination of painting and digital art.

How about a personalized doll made from a photo of your child? Amaria offers this!  You can even select the size and outfits for the doll.

Amaria began making Bible stories for her sister to use in her children's ministry. These have become very popular with her customers. She plans to increase the range of available characters and scenery pieces, and welcomes your request for specific stories.

Amaria is currently working on "summer beach" and "when I grow up" clothes for her dolls.
